General Peter Pace, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is catching a lot of flack over his comments that homosexual acts are wrong. (General's Comments) "I believe homosexual acts between two individuals are immoral and that we should not condone immoral acts," Pace said. He compared these acts to adultery.
Now, liberals are coming out of the woodwork complaining that pace is prejudice against gay people. Look at his comments and listen to his words again. "THE ACT...IS IMMORAL". It is obvious that Pace is basing his comments on Christian principles. Did Pace indict any person or people? No more than he indicted anyone who has ever cheated on his wife.
The fact is, homosexual acts are sinful just like pedophilia is a sin. Pace didn't Tim Hardaway the deal and say he hates gay people. I believe there are people who have gay feelings and don't act on them. But people that do act on them are doing something wrong. That is not judgemental, that is a fact.
I'm glad Pace spoke his belief. Not because it matches mine but because it is based on moral truths that seem to be lacking in our society today...
