Moe recently responded to my post regarding the hypocrisy of Albert Gore. While I would not consider myself GREEN, I do think Moe made a valid point. Here are his comments:
True Dat!Al and his doom, gloom and hypocrisy do the green movement a disservice. While I most certainly am "green" and always will be, it isn't because I'm guilty or afraid. It's simply because being green is superior way of doing things. As a person of faith (that sounds adequately P.C. right?) I believe that mimicking God's creation is a valid and appropriate direction for the design of products and services that civilization needs. I also oppose the idea that conservation and efficiency are the hallmarks of "Green". God's creation isn't efficient! But it is very effective. We have a world of abundance, and when people understand that green design means making the world a better place and a more abundant place for all of God's creation, then even someone like the Infomaniac might call himself green.
1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen,no ear has heard,no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."
